Diving the Bahamas

Spectacular, beautiful, stunning are just a few of the words to describe diving in the Bahamas.

Water temp 77

There is an entire range of fish to see. So far I’ve seen nurse sharks, black tip reef sharks, lionfish, yellow Stingray spotted moray eel, barracuda, sand diver, squirrelfish, fairy basslet, different type of groupers, spotfin butterfly fish, spadefish, Queen Angelfish, French angelfish, yellow damselfish, purple reef fish, blue head wrssse, hogfish blue parrot fish, Spotlight parrotfish, blue tang Juvenile and adults, filefish and of course lobsters, Coral and so much more.

I hope you’re convinced.  That is a huge list up there!

There are 2 dive shops to choose from on the island.  If there are any others, they are not popping up on Google. I would suspect they are very small and use Word of Mouth.

Both Stuart cove’s and Bahama divers have buses that will pick you up near your hotel.
